Kyle had a huge game in the 2015 Army All-American Bowl, following a huge High School campaign. Phillips collected 14 sacks, and 22.5 sacks, and as an early enrollee, he could see the field in 2015 early and often.
Kyle's biggest trait has to be his athleticism. He has a great first step off the line, and he's fast. Tennessee has a beast run stuffer, and a nasty pass rusher.
The biggest key to Phillips joining the team is that Butch Jones has landed the top Tennessee prospect for the 2nd straight season. He brings so much to the table, and alongside fellow enrollee 5 star DT Khalil McKenzie, and the promising front 7 in Knoxville, Tennessee is a very promising dark horse team in 2015.
